Rockband & music appreciation.

We've been playing rockband recently, we don't own the system so we have to visit friends to play it. It's a lot of fun. I'm not musically inclined, never having been in "band" or even been able to hold a tune. I like music in general, but this has given me more appreciation for it. I can hear drums more now and I don't gloss over the guitar work. Classical music has always been more distinct to my ear than rock, but now I think I can hear rock better. I can also appreciate how complex rock music is, I knew that academically, but now I know by (a somewhat skewed) experience.
